Elena Garcia is a results-oriented senior human resources executive with extensive experience in developing and implementing progressive people management strategies, buildingeffective working relationships across organizations and partnering with business leaders to ensure alignment and achievement of people and business goals.

Currently, Elena serves as Chief Human Resources Officer for Cornerstone Research, a market leading economic consulting firm with over 700 employees. In this role, she directs the human resources activities, including employee relations, diversity and inclusion, benefit design and administration, retirement planning, compliance, performance and compensation management, policy development, immigration and relocation.

Prior to working at Cornerstone Research, she served as Chief of Human Resources Officer at Dickstein Shapiro LLP. Before that, she worked for thirteen years at APCO Worldwide, starting as Human Resources Manager and rising to Senior Vice President for Human Resources, North America. She served for three years as an administrative manager at Porter Novelli International. Elena began her career at the Embassy of Spain where she performed in a protocol/liaison/translation capacity, assisting officials to coordinate with the State Department and Department of Defense in military and diplomatic matters.
