Marta Siberio has operated Marta Siberio Consulting, an organizational development consultancy, since 1993. Ms. Siberio brings to her clients over twenty-five years of program and management experience in health and social service programs in New York City, the United States and abroad.
Prior to the founding of Marta Siberio Consulting, Ms. Siberio applied her management planning and strategic decision making talents in Russia and the emerging democracies of Central Asia where she directed complex humanitarian assistance programs. Ms. Siberio has held significant management positions in government serving as Assistant Commissioner in the New York City Health Department from 1989 to 1992, and in the New York City Mayor’s Office of Operations as a policy analyst on child welfare, child care, HIV/AIDS and homeless policy issues from 1983 to 1989.
Ms. Siberio is a Masters public policy graduate of New York University’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, the Harvard University Kennedy School Program for Senior Executives in Government, and the National Coalition of Hispanic Health and Human Services Organization’s Hispanic Health Leadership Program. Her undergraduate degree in Political Science is from Amherst College. Ms. Siberio is a founding member of the professional Hispanic women’s organization, 100 Hispanic Women, and has served on the Board of other non-profits.
